Rosie to debut Valentine's Day Lingerie collection for Marks & Spencer

While most people are probably still thinking about Christmas and toying around with their new gifts or planning their New Year's Eve festivities and dreaming of that perfect midnight kiss, retailers have already shifted their focus to Valentine's Day and have begun unveiling their offerings for the romantic holiday. British retailer Marks & Spencer is one of the first stores to do so with the revealing of British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley new Valentine's Day lingerie collection.
The 26-year-old model's Rosie for Autograph collection became Marks & Spencer's best-selling lingerie range back in August 2012 when it was launched, and now Huntington-Whiteley is showing off a spring range that likely will be just as successful. The feminine collection includes Huntington-Whiteley signature touches - silk playsuits and delicate floral prints - in addition to an emphasis on romantic ruffles and pastel pinks.
"We wanted to create a luxurious collection of lingerie that would be perfect for Valentine's Day and embraces a woman's femininity making her feel utterly beautiful, whether she is treating herself or receiving a gift from her partner" Huntington-Whiteley, who is dating British actor Jason Statham, told the Telegraph. Of the pieces in the collection, Huntington-Whiteley said her personal favorite is a silk plunge bra and brief set in amethyst. The collection launches on January 10, giving you (or your partner) plenty of time to shop it before Valentine's Day.
In addition to working on this forthcoming Valentine's Day-themed lingerie line, Huntington-Whiteley has earned herself a place in the spotlight for another reason. Earlier this month, Google released its annual Zeitgeist lists, and the model managed to make her way onto the top 10 of the search engine's most-Googled fashion figure of 2013 in the U.K. category.
Cara Delevingne topped the list, while British fashion designer Paul Smith scored the second place spot and Vivienne Westwood came in third. Designer Victoria Beckham and supermodel Kate Moss round out the top five, coming in at fourth and fifth respectively.
