Folake Folarin-Coker,Creative Director of Tiffany Amber schooled in Switzerland and in Scotland before relocating to Nigeria in 1998 to become a lawyer,she also has a masters degree in Petroleum law.For the first time in 2008,Folake showcased at the Mercedes Benz fashion week in New York and the collection was well received that she was invited to perform for the second time making her the first African based designer to showcase for two consecutive seasons at the New York fashion week.
Tiffany Amber debut showcase ultra-feminine pieces made from the most luxurious fabrics.The clothing line goal is to bring out the princess in every woman.Tiffany Amber creations are characterised by sensual shapes,richest of fabrics and exquisite details.The brand has been featured and interviewed globally from BBC,CNN,The New York post,WWD,ARISE magazine,Essence,Style.com and so on.Tiffany Amber has shown collections in different countries:London,Kenya,Vienna,Cape Town,Johannesburg,Angola,Paris,New York and Nigeria.
At the 2013 GTB Lagos Fashion and Design week,Tiffany Amber showcased her latest collection "Nirvana".Responding to the reason behind Nirvana,she said"when the whole world is looking to Africa for inspiration,I always like to re-invent the original African aesthetic while still remaining authentic and original without changing the DNA of the brand.The tie and dye/batik is a process that Tiffany Amber has been working with since the launch of the label a decade and a half ago but this time we challenged ourselves on how we can use it".

Recently,Folake has been honoured as one of the 20 Young Power African Women.Other awards include:Designer of the Year at the 2009 Africa Fashion International in Johannesburg,Fashion brand of the year at the ARISE magazine fashion week in 2011 for her AW 2011 Fearless Collection.
